This privacy policy, provided only for the Website and not for other websites that may be consulted by the User via links, is subject to changes, in accordance with legislative amendments and/or new purposes that may be pursued through the Website.

1. Data Controller
The Data Controller is PESTNET EUROPE s.r.l., in the person of its legal representative pro tempore, with registered office in via Morozzo della Rocca n. 3, 20123 Milano and business unit in Via Terza Strada, 12 – 35026 Conselve (PD), VAT no. 07336140962, e-mail info@pestnet-europe.com, PEC pestneteuropesrl@legalmail.it (hereinafter also “PESTNET EU” or the “Controller”).
2. Data Subject to Processing
The data subject to processing are as follows:
• Browse data: the IT systems responsible for the operation of the Website acquire, during their normal operation, certain personal data which are then implicitly transmitted in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects but, by its very nature, could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow the identification of Users. This category of data includes, for example, IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by Users connecting to the Website, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, and other parameters relating to the operating system and the User’s IT environment. This data is used solely for the purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the Website and to check its correct functioning, is deleted immediately after processing, and is in no case used to carry out profiling activities;

• “Contacts” section: name, surname, company name, occupation, e-mail address provided by the User through the contact form for requesting information from PESTNET EU, as well as any personal data contained in the request. Please note that the optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of e-mail messages to the addresses indicated on this Website entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the requests themselves.
3. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing
The Data Controller will carry out the processing for the following purposes, distinguished by categories of personal data:
• a) Browse data: to allow the User to browse the Website and obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the Website to check its correct functioning and to determine which data/contents are more or less useful/interesting for Users and therefore to be able to improve the effectiveness of the material available on the Website. The legal basis for the processing is the legitimate interest of the Controller (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f) GDPR);
• b) Personal data provided through the contact form and through the voluntary sending of e-mails: to respond to requests for information sent by the User. The legal basis for the processing is the performance of pre-contractual measures adopted at the request of the Data Subject (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b) GDPR).
In any case, the processing of the aforementioned data for the Controller’s defensive needs or to comply with legal obligations or requests from Authorities remains unaffected.
4. Processing Methods
The data will be collected electronically, protected from risks of destruction, modification, deletion, and unauthorised access through adequate physical, logical, and organisational security measures, and further processed, including in paper form, to the extent and within the time strictly necessary to carry out the purposes indicated above.
For the purposes referred to in point 3, the data may be processed by subjects operating within the Controller’s internal organisational structure as well as by external subjects necessary for the functioning of the Website and the provision of the requested services, appointed as Data Processors pursuant to Article 28 GDPR. There are no automated profiling processes.
5. Recipients of the Data
Data acquired through the Website may be communicated to collaborators and employees of the Controller, specifically authorised for processing, and to service providers offered through the Website or connected to its operation, as Data Processors.
The data will not be communicated to third parties, unless the communication is required by a legal or regulatory obligation, or in the case of an order from the Judicial Authority or Public Security. No personal data will be disseminated. Data acquired through the Website will not be transferred to Third Countries or international organisations.
6. Data Retention Period
The Controller will retain the data for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. In particular, data collected through the “contacts” form and through the voluntary sending of emails will be retained for the time necessary to process the requests, after which they will be deleted or anonymised, subject to any retention obligations required by law.
7. Mandatory and Optional Nature of Personal Data Communication
The communication of Browse data is mandatory and indispensable to allow the Controller to enable the User to use the Website. The communication of data requested in the contact form is mandatory, where marked as such (*). Failure to provide the data indicated as mandatory will make it impossible to provide the requested information.
8. Data Subject Rights
Pursuant to Articles 15-21 GDPR, Data Subjects have the right to:
• obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning them are being processed, and where that is the case, access to the personal data and the information referred to in Article 15 GDPR (right of access);
• obtain the rectification of inaccurate personal data without undue delay or the integration of incomplete personal data (right to rectification – Article 16 GDPR); • obtain the erasure of personal data without undue delay (right to erasure – Article 17 GDPR);
• obtain restriction of processing (right to restriction of processing – Article 18 GDPR);
• object to processing at any time on grounds relating to their particular situation (right to object – Article 21 GDPR);
